First race in Karolínka and great 4th place

First race in this season fired up better then i expect. On Friday we moved to Karolínka in Czech, where I started also last year. I skied a little bit in the evening, because i didn't ski for 3 weeks.

On Saturday morning, we had an inspection. The course was really good. Then i made 3 training runs and qualification. I made 2 mistakes and the result was 9th place. 16 riders went to final heats, so i had only blue bib. I weny easily throw quaterfinals from 2.place. In semifinal one rider pushed me away with hand from the course, so i had to concentrate for small final. I was slow on the start and finished on 7th position, but i was satisfied.

The programme was same also on Sunday, inspection, training and qualification. I made better run in qualification, but i made one mistake. I finished on 6th position and get green bib. In quaterfinals i fight against slovenian guy and 2 czechs. I fucked start, so into the first turn we went 3 together. It was clear, there will be contact. For my luck, slovenian guy crashed and i came to the finish on 2.position. I knew I have big chance in semifinal. I had also green bib and i fighted against polish guy and two czechs. Start was relative good i was on 2.position. I held it to finish so i was in big final but i wanted to fight more... In final i was against two polish guys and czech guy. I made worse start of a day so i was on 4th position whole course. I'm really satisfied with this result, but Top 3 is top 3...

For 99% i made points for world cups, so i'm really happy. It's a nice kick after all the problems. And of course big thanks to my 'mini team'!

After this race i know, that i have to train a starts a lot... Enjoy some photos, but only from cell phone because we forgot camera...
